Our Staff

Dr. Stephanie Dawn Davis

A graduate of LSU, Dr. Davis is originally from Mississippi. She moved to Maine after graduating and has practiced here since 2000. She has been at the Cape Vet since 2002. This gave her valuable knowledge of the area and clientele before purchasing the practice in 2007.

Dr. William J. Flahive

A graduate of LSU also, Dr. Flahive is a Maine native who grew up in the Portland area. He also worked at Cape Vet for a while in 2003. He is very pleased to come back to serve the community he knows so well.

Dr. Tamara Huzicker

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Huzicker has done work at Animal Medical Association in NYC and Angell Memorial in Boston along with various other clinics. She has lived in Maine since 1993 and has been a part-time vet at the Cape Vet since 1997.

Dr. Julie Krasne

A graduate of Kansas State University, Dr. krasne has owned a practice in Vermont and has been in Maine since 2000. She has worked in various hospitals and has been part-time at Cape Vet since 2003.

Lauren Rice, Office Manager

Is a native of Massachusetts. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono and holds a degree in Animal Sciences and Zoology. She fell in love with Maine and has been at Cape Vet since 1996.

Jesse Handcock & Jessica Libby, Vet Technicians

They are both Maine natives. Jesse has worked at Cape Vet since 2004 and Jessica has been with us since 2005. Their patience, care, and love of the animals are an asset to our clinic.

Tamara Lyons, Receptionist

Originally from Florida, Tamara has been in Maine since 2006 and has added her front desk 'people' talents to our operation. She continues to keep things running smoothly!
